Local Car Sales
A national used-car marketplace — designed, built, marketed and run by us.

Figures from the live system, 12 October 2026.
The idea
Independent dealers pay a fortune to be seen on the big car sites. We wanted a place where buyers could see every local dealer's stock in one search — and then go straight to the dealer to buy. No middleman, no commission, and free for the dealer to be listed.
What we built
- A search across the whole UK by make, model, price, body type and distance from any town
- A page for every car, every dealer and thousands of towns and makes — each one written to be found on Google
- An engine that reads thousands of dealer websites every day and keeps prices, photos and sold cars up to date on its own
- Dealer accounts: claim your listing, add your logo, see your views and enquiries
- Video walkrounds, and price checks that catch monthly finance figures posing as prices

The marketing
A network of 19 Facebook pages — Cars Under £2,000, £3,000 … £15,000, BMW Deals, Audi Deals and more — posts real cars from real dealers every day, automatically. Each post links back to the car on Local Car Sales and on to the dealer. Every new page is announced to Google and Bing within minutes through IndexNow, and a plain-English file tells AI assistants what the site is.

The results
- 352 visits a week from UK buyers, up from 248 the week before
- ChatGPT is our biggest named source of visitors — 90 a week, more than Google
- 79 buyers a week clicking through to a dealer, and 36 dealers a week starting to claim their listing
- 73 dealers have verified and claimed their page so far
Week of 5–11 October 2026, Google Analytics, UK visitors only.
